First Grade Teacher Email Phone: 715-443-2538 Ext. 1138 Hi! My name is Cassie Leiby, and I have been teaching at Marathon Elementary since Fall of 2015. I am in my 10th year of teaching 1st Grade and love every second of it! I love being able to work with children to see them grow, learn, and explore. I firmly believe that children learn through play as well as hands on activities. My favorite Module to teach is our series on Birds. I love being able to witness children becoming experts on areas they are passionate about.

I currently live in Colby, with my husband, my two children, my dog Leo, and our chickens . In my personal time, I enjoy reading, gardening, "chicken tending," going on walks/bike rides, kayaking, and spending time at the lake.
