In the event a majority of the electors voting on the Question vote "yes", the District will be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $1,600,000 beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, for recurring purposes; if a majority vote "no" on the question set forth above, the District will not be so authorized.
If the Referendum is approved, will there be changes to staffing?
Staffing changes are reviewed on an annual basis in the spring as the district begins the budgeting process for each succeeding year. Staffing needs are reviewed for support staff positions as well as teaching positions. In recent years, our school board has reviewed and approved staffing to meet the expanding needs of our student body. The operational referendum will assist in being able to maintain the current staffing levels into the future.
